The best dressed gentlemen will take home two tickets to our next Film Fatale on March 31st and the best dressed lady will win this beautiful limited edition print of Audrey Hepburn by Vincent Keeling at the Keeling Gallery. The best dressed will be judged on how good your ensemble is, attention to detail and glamour but mostly how fun it is.

The beautiful picture of Audrey Hepburn  is from an image of an original oil painting by Vincent Keeling. Part of Vincent Keelings Famous Faces series, the print is tastefully framed (Print 34x34cm - Frame 56x56cm) and ready to be the center piece of any room.

The many outfits of Miss Holly Golightly

Holly could give Aphrodite a run for her money in this incredibly elegant take on the Greek toga which I like to think she just threw together with an old but fabulous curtain. To get the look choose a toga or Grecian style dress. A fitted dress with a sweeping shawl will also look the part. Big earrings and a ridiculously long cigarette holder to finish the look. Try a candy cigarette in the cigarette holder.

Some fun and brightness in what is a mainly LBD closet. Look for a bright pink dress that's fitted on top and flares out from the waist, even if the shape isn't identical a well placed pink ribbon will pull in the top and make the bottom half flare out. Finish with a pink tiara and what looks like a carnival pimp stick.

A classic LBD that flares out at the end is creates more of an hour glass figure and is incredibly flattering. Finish with a big beaded necklace and matching earrings and ooze glamour.
Another day another LBD, with diamonds and feathers to jazz it up. A bouffant hat and big black glasses finish the look.
Any old black dress will do because it's all about the big hat and sunglasses. Copies of both in Pennior's at the moment at wonderful Penny's prices.
Casual but still oh so chic in a wide necked polo neck.
                                                     A mask, sure why not!?
Even when one lounges one must remain utterly fabulous. A version of this eye mask is available in Urban outfitters. Attach tassels to ear plugs to complete the look but do take them out so you can hear the film.
Straight out of the shower, throw your hair in a towel and put on what ever you can find. If it works for Holly it will work for us.

It's all about the party guests

I just love the party scenes in Breakfast at Tiffany's, what a crazy collection of wild and wonderful guests. A smorgasbord of colour, 1950s taffeta prom dresses, bright wiggle dresses, outrageous feathered hats, eye patches and ankle watches. What I really love is the divilment, the eccentric guests and the anything goes chaos. When your getting ready for Breakfast at Tiffany's why not take inspiration from Holly's party guests.
Women want him and men want to be him and It doesn't matter what his suit looks like because he's the mysterious eye-patch man. You to can be the eye-patch man by simply wearing an eye-patch.
"Oh I'm soo funny",  find a mirror and laugh at your own jokes.Just don't drink any gin!
Women's legs make a very handsome scarf. All the rage in NY at the time.
Dark rimmed glasses and a knowing smile, the ensemble of choice for eccentric millionaires.
The ankle watch, fashionable if not a little impractical. The perfect accessory for a
taffeta prom dress and court shoes.
A beautiful turquoise fitted dress with thin strap for a bright and bubbly Mariln Monroe look.Which may bring out your inner Marilyn.
An oriental style pink dress with a heavy dose of diamonds screams royalty.
If being the flame haired siren in the emerald dress isn't enough... pounce!
Make a statement in a purple dress with red accessories. Drape yourself in diamonds and make that statement "I'm filthy rich ha ha ha".
Decorate yourself with serenading gentlemen.
Monochrome glamour, matching a gleaming white dress with black accessories. Choosing a dance partner in a bright red waist coat... inspired!
Hand stands are all the rage in Paris.
Dabble with a big loud hat. Please don't set yourself on fire for dramatic effect.

HOW TO BE THE PERFECT PARTY GUEST
Make an entrance in a stunning silver dress and a fantastically feathered hat.Bring an attractive friend... rich is just as good as attractive.
Enjoy a cocktail.

Make way for the dance floor.
But know the one that's one too many!

Film Fatale & The Pyg Restaurant present: Dinner with a side of cinema

Dinner with a side of cinema ~ delectable Valentine’s dining accompanied by a screening of When Harry Met Sally.

This Valentine’s Day, Film Fatale are teaming up with the new Pyg Restaurant for a special night of film, live music and delectable dining.
A screening of the modern romantic comedy classic When Harry met Sally will be paired with a delicious 3-course dinner prepared by Chef Morne Castelyn in the elegant surroundings of the Powerscourt Townhouse.
Inspired by the classic film and dinner date, this romantic night will be perfect for couples looking for a casual and fun night out that won’t blow their budget. For €30 per person you and your significant other will be treated to a 3-course meal, a film, and live music on arrival.
When Harry Met Sally  tracks a star-crossed pair as they repeatedly drift apart and meet again over the span of 13 years and gradually fall madly, deeply, passionately into friendship, a friendship ever teetering on the edge of love. Harry meets Sally when they share a car ride to New York City upon graduation from the University of Chicago. A few minutes into the trip, the conversation between womanising, neurotic Harry (Billy Crystal) and driven, equally neurotic Sally (Meg Ryan)  becomes heatedly contentious. The question arises: Can a man and a woman be just friends.
The perfect dinner and date movie,When Harry Met Sally is a hilarious and sweet romantic comedy which features some of the most fantastic dinner orders and dinning scenes in film.
