It don't mean a thing if you ain't got that swing

It's Saturday night at Film Fatale, The Bugle Babes are singing their hearts out and everyone's swinging around the dance floor in their finery. Good old fashioned fun is being had by all but then you get distracted by someone dancing like they should be in a 1940s musical, more than likely, they are a Dublindy dancer. Dublindy is the the place to go if you want to learn Swing dancing in Ireland and if you've never been you can print out this flyer and get your first lesson for free. It's on every Monday in the Twisted Pepper, 54 Middle Abbey Street at 8pm. Yes, it's on tonight! time to get your dancing shoes on!
Swing (also known as Lindy Hop) is a fun, easy to learn partner dance. Creativity and humour fuse with off-beat rhythms to create its unique style. It’s danced to big band, jazz and rat pack music– guaranteed to put a swing in your step! I've only been to one class (it's top of my list for when my work load calms down) and was apprehensive after a previous tap class trauma but everyone was so friendly and welcoming and the teachers are fantastic so I whole heartily recommend checking it out. Check out their website.
